How To Add A RockYou Fun Note To Your Website

In this articles I will tell you how to add a RockYou.com Fun Note to your website. A Fun Note is an image that contains text which you can customize to be your own. RockYou Fun Notes are a fun way to add some creative flare to your website. Fun Notes allows you to customize the text that appear within each image as well as add effects like glitter, shadowing, and more. To get started making your own free website and Fun Note follow the instructions below.

1. Go to RockYou.com and click on the Fun Notes icon.

RockYou is a site that let's you create all kinds of widgets for your website or social network profile. Be sure to click on the icon labled 'Fun Notes' to get started.

2. Choose the image you want to make into your Fun Note.

You'll now see a number of images that contain text. The text in each one of the images displayed can be customized to reflect your own personal message. Click on the image that you would like to add your own custom text to. You'll also be able to add cool effects to your image.

3. Customize your Fun Note.

Now that you've selected your image you can type your very own custom message into the box provided and it will be displayed on the image in your Fun Note. You can also choose to add glitter effects, sparkles, drop shadow, sepia, and much more.

4. Save your Fun Note and get it's code.

Once you're finished customizing your Fun Note click on the 'Save' button to get your Fun Note HTML Code that you will need for your website. At this point you will be asked to either login to your RockYou account or create a new account.

5. Copy and paste your Fun Note code into your WebStarts page editor.

Once you've saved your Fun Note you click on the HTML Code where it says 'Copy to Clipboard'. The HTML Code will be copied from your clipboard. Navigate your way to your WebStarts page editor and click 'Insert' and then 'HTML Code' on the toolbar. Paste the HTML Code into the space provided and then click 'OK'. Your Fun Note will appear on your webpage. You can then drag and drop your Fun Note where you would like it to appear on your page.

Click save and then click the link to your site in the upper right to view your Fun Note on your live website.
